From Concept to Completion – The Production Process
Turning this bold sport boot into reality involved a multi-phase production process, with extra focus on layered materials and tension control in the shaft:
1: Pattern Cutting
Using technical sketches and paper patterns, we laser-cut each panel of:
Upper leather (either full grain or vegan PU)
Inner sheepskin lining
Structural reinforcements around the heel, toe, and collar
All pieces were pre-measured for left/right balance and stitching symmetry.

2:Upper Leather Shaping & Wrinkle Control
This stage is especially important for this design. To create the intentional leather wrinkles on the shaft, we:
Applied heat-pressing + hand tension methods
Controlled the pressure zones so the wrinkles formed organically yet symmetrically
Added reinforcement behind the shaft to maintain structure
The collar fold-over structure also required reinforced sewing along the edge to retain its flipped shape over time.

3: Upper and Sole Integration
Once the upper was shaped and structured, we carefully matched it with the custom outsole.
Proper alignment was key to balance the tall silhouette
The toe cap was secured with a separate white rubber insert before the full outsole assembly

4:Final Heat Sealing
The boots underwent infrared heat curing to:
Lock adhesives across the full perimeter
Enhance waterproof properties
Ensure the wrinkled structure would retain shape even after long wear

WHY THIS PROJECT WAS UNIQUE
This sport boot required careful handling in three key areas:
Wrinkle Management
Too much tension, and the boot would collapse; too little, and the wrinkle effect would fade.
Fold-Over Structure
Maintaining a clean, “flipped” look while allowing comfortable movement required precise pattern cutting and reinforced stitching.
White Rubber Toe Cap + Sole Blending
Ensuring a seamless visual transition from upper to outsole — despite three different material surfaces.
